Christini Technologies have made a street legal, all wheel drive version of the KTM SuperMoto. The mechanical system Christini uses is a lot different than the systems that have been developed, the Christini system is a complicated system for power transfer to the front wheel, but with the advantage that it entails fewer losses.

When required, 80% of power from the rear wheel goes to the front wheel; this usually comes into play when the rear wheel loses traction, and the front wheel can kick in for stabilization. For all its complications, the system does sound awesome and will possibly work great. Checkout the source link for more details on the functioning of the AWD SuperMoto.
