It was a popular entity of the small car market in the early eighties and survived the times well until the early nineties and now as per the latest gesticulations the upgraded version of the Lancia Delta is set to debut in the Geneva Auto Show 2008.
It’s a name the rally buffs take to more familiarly for the Lancia Delta has had astounding success in the World Rally Championship with 46 victories in a tuned version of the Delta HF integrale (a four-wheel drive hatchback).
The version that would debut at the next Geneva Auto show will be based on the Delta HPE that debuted at the 2006 Paris Autos Show. Also, the model to come out would be the Flagship model for Fiat as the company plans to put it above the now stationed Bravo.
