The focus of auto enthusiasts from around the globe this winter would definitely be on the Detroit Auto Show to be held in January but elsewhere in the world there would be offerings made public too. Won’t keep you guessing for long, the other venue sporting car debuts would be the Brussels International Motor Show which would be held from the 17th to the 27th of January in Belgium.
While everyone is more interested to know what would be showcased in Detroit, there are a few offerings to debut at Brussels which deserve an equal mention. One such offering would be the Phedra SUV from Lancia which would take guard in Belgium.
For me, the unique factor of this SUV is its shape which isn’t quite SUV like yet since the company calls it so, we will take it. Powered by a 2.2 Liter Multijet Diesel Engine, the SUV produces 170 hp at 4,000 rpm with 370 Nm of Torque.
The surprising thing about this SUV that speeds from 0 to 100 Km/h in 10 seconds is its top speed of 200Km/h despite a low-profile engine. It is the outcome of the sequential-parallel twin-turbo mating.
The maker is unfamiliar for the bulk of our readers thus it is indispensable to mention here that the Phedra SUV isn’t a first time make. It is indeed an improved version of an older Phedra which has been revised on the outside as well as the inside and thus comes in three trims namely; Argento, Oro, Platino.
