It uses the integrated motion sensor to know whether a vehicle is approaching or not, kicking off the Laser Guided Parking System to “shoot” a bright, vertical laser beam from a mounting location so that you will be able to park in the same spot every time without fail. That is something people could use a lot when they are probably applying for a license but then it is not going to be that easy that soon. Anyway, one hopes more technology like this helps driving become a lot safer for all. Apparently you could get it for $25 if you are good at a bargain!
