fiat 500 abarth
Fiat 500 has seen good action and there’s a hype built around the 500 Abarth, the tuned version of the Fiat 500. Coming from the Scorpion marque, the 500 Abarth is eagerly awaited, but the wait may stretch longer as indications of a delay in the launch arise.

The 500 Abarth was set for a Tokyo debut, but the success of the Fiat 500 means that the production lines are busy pumping out 500s and there’s no room for the 500 Abarth; the tuned car is now likely to make a debut at the Geneva Auto Show.

A 1.4L turbocharged diesel engine that delivers 150bhp is a big highlight for the tuned version; and then there are the special alloy wheels, the scorpion badge and their may be a ‘racier’ chassis as well. There is an extreme version, the ‘esseesse’ in the race as well, this will squeeze 180bhp from the engine.

Prices for the Abarth are likely to be in the vicinity of £15,000 mark. Fiat promises the engine will only be a part of the entire package, if that’s true, this one is going to set the streets on fire.
