Talk about the green standards of a vehicle, I suppose this pretty much comes out on top. While going green has been a bit of craze off late in the auto world, and rightly so, this one piece is probably symbolic of what we would like to achieve in near future. No, not a vehicle crafted out of wood, but vehicles that run on road with zero-emissions. While a handful can proudly make that claim today, one hopes within the next few decades the entire planet will vouch that they run on emission-free fuel.
Lee Stoetzel is an architect who crafted this amazing piece from just wood and the artists says that it is Cypress. The entire van, (that’s what it looks like to me) looks really nice and sends a very strong green message. We do not really know how long it took for Lee to make this whole vehicle and how much effort has been put in to it. The entire interiors are also crafted to perfection and there has been a fine attention to detail.

Lee is basically from Florida but later moved out to New York. I suppose New York has a strange kind of appeal to the artists and craftsmen, or so I have always heard. Now I do not know if that is the same in case of Lee, but the guy is surely talented in his craft. The piece is, like many other modern day sculptures, an amalgamation of environment, technology, art and architecture.
