That’s a near-poetic expression and coming from a novice in poems, it is prone to exaggeration. Here is a pair of slippers that not just look like cars, but also have flashing headlights. These headlights, made from bright LEDs are triggered by footsteps and illuminate the floor till 30 feet in front of you. This obviously saves you the trouble of groping in the dark to find your way, and if they actually are triggered by footsteps, which means they go off the moment you take your foot off the floor, they may even double up as a new breed of disco lights!
