Toyota has produced the LF-A, a two door concept car under the brand name of Lexus. The car was first seen at the 2005 NAIAS. LFA’s 5-liter (may be smaller) engine produces more than 500 horses which can propel it to a speed of nearly 200 miles per hour.
A revised version was unveiled at NAIAS 2007 with better furnished interiors; it is expected to join the Lexus F-marque line up.
LF-A has been given a green signal for production and its prototype has been marked testing at Nurburgring a famous motor sport race track in Germany with out any concealing outfit .It is very close to its basic conceptual idea as was anticipated, with some trivial changes

The vehicles to be produced are expected to carry V10 engines, pitting it in the market against the Lamborghini Gallardo and the Porsche 911 with an expected price tag of above $100,000. V10 and hybrid both of the two editions of LF-A would be put to production as confirmed by Lexus GB director Steve Settle .The hybrid version is likely to carry a V8 power train similar to that of the Lexus LS 600h L .
People expecting the car have to keep patience till its official unveiling likely to be at the car show in Frankfurt any time in September .Till then it’s time to wait while the Lexus guys continue to test and fine tune, the suspension and handling .

The LF-A along with the Nissan GT-R and Acura NSX are marking a new age of Japanese high performance super cars, shaping up to be an epic ,but all that matters is the impact these cars will make once they are at the dealership. Till then the company and the enthusiasts should keep their fingers crossed. Only time can tell how much it appeals to its targeted customers.
