2006 lexus is 250
While my controversy regarding the impact of recalls in terms of the ‘I’ factor still doesn’t find any worthwhile answers, I feel itching to let go the information that we finally have a name from Japan messed up with the recalls, giving the likes of Chrysler and Ford a breather but no envious pun intended.

The cousin of Japan’s big boss Toyota, Lexus, is finally feeling the heat of recalls as approximately 34,000 models that include 2006 Lexus GS 300, IS 250 and IS 350 models have been recalled.

The reason for this act is a couple of fuel pipes placed in the engine compartment, in the high-stress areas that can potentially crack over a period of time. Both rear and all-wheel-drive versions of the GS and IS bear the same problematic pipes.

Until now, one case has been reported luckily without any accidental follow-up. The affected car owners would be notified via email in December and needless to say that they would get the new pipes affixed without any additional charges, after all, that is what is so ‘pleasing’ about these recalls.
