The Rally Fighter was amongst 21,000 designs Local Motors received as part of a competition. The design from Sangho Kim came out the winner, and the kit builders are now bringing it to the real world. The Baja-styled off roader will be powered by a turbocharged 3.0-l V6 engine source from the BMW 335d. This clean diesel engine generates 265hp and 425 lb-ft of torque.
A maximum of 3000 units will be built on a tubular steel space frame and dressed in a custom designed wrap. There isn’t information on the transmission and some other details yet, but you can register for one of these $50,000 vehicles with a $99 deposit.
