Los Angeles Auto Show 2006 is all flooded with futuristic Concepts. Automotive experts label the Detroit Auto Show better than the Los Angeles one but the kind of cars being unveiled here may well change their thoughts , atleast this year. Honda added to the futuristic glitter of the LA Fare with its Sports Car Concept the REMIX.

REMIX is a twin seat sports car concept purely based on performance and (more interestingly) everyday usability. This one is a product from Honda R&D Americas, Inc. which is an advanced design studio Located in Southern California. As of know it is a pure design concept , which runs on Front wheel drive technology with a four-cylinder engine and 6 speed gear transmission . Its daily usability facet is based on the fact that it is a derivative of a small car plinth.

As it is performance oriented, Honda has equipped it with a sport suspension and antagonistic brakes and tires. John Mendel Senior VP of American Honda mentioned:
Pure Honda to the core, the REMIX concept vehicle focuses on a simple, lightweight and fun-to-drive philosophy. The concept balances sports car virtues with real-world practicality.

The need of the hour is more and more of such sporty cars that are based on a thoughtful concept like daily usability. We would definitely like to see Honda giving this one a production Sanction.
