The very first real test for the new Lotus 2-Eleven yielded pleasing results for the company. The sports car that was unveiled just before the Geneva Auto Show hit the track recently for the very first time and delivered 0-60 mph in a mere 3.9 seconds and reached to 100mph in 8.9 seconds.
The Lotus 2-Eleven is power driven by the Toyota’s 1.8-litre VVTL-I motor. The car will go into production in April with the track-only version costing £39,995 while the UK-only road-going form will be priced for £41,100.
