Pagani is famous for on-track cars. They speak of sheer luxury and pure brilliance. Well, Pagani has launched a counterpart to its Pagani Zonda R - the Pagani Zonda Cinque. This devil of a car is absolutely raring to woo the roads with its speed and macho looks. It’s nearly impossible to match the mad styling of a Lamborghini, the speed of a Ferrari, or the glorious interior of a Bugatti- but Pagani actually has managed to get all the three with this one. Powered by a 7.3L V12 engine and adorned with carbon fiber body, the Cinque can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds. Phew! Whoever made this car? Breaking is equally fabulous — thanks to the Brembo brakes which take just 2.1 seconds to bring down the car down from 62 mph. The Cinque is available at a relative deal of €800,000 (that is equivalent to about a whopping $1.24 million)! Well, didn’t we all know that rare pieces are exquisitely expensive? The ‘cinque’ in the nomenclature means ‘five’ in Italian. So, this beast is actually five in number- that is only five models of this car would be manufactured. Now, let me guess who the buyers would be? Certainly not me or you- what about an Ambani or a Mittal or our cine stars for that matter. I like to believe that an Indian would surely buy this one.
