According to the latest survey done by J.D. Power, luxury cars topped the satisfaction study which noted news vehicles after 90 days of ownership. The survey studied 3 months old, recently bought vehicles, noting performance, layout appeal and customer satisfaction for which Porsche topped the list. Other luxury carmakers like AG’s BMW brand, DaimlerChrysler AG’s Mercedes-Benz, Toyota Motor Co.’s Lexus, Nissan Motor Co.’s Infiniti and Audi AG, Volkswagen AG’s luxury arm went to climb top spots.

The survey also found Detroit automakers catching up with international ones. Ford Motor Co.’s Lincoln ranked 11th, highest among the domestic ones, while two Ford cars were the best in their classes - hopefully this might restore the lost market shares of U.S automakers to foreign counterparts.
