The Beast: Maserati has created the GranTurismo MC Concept, which is designed as a track-day special. The previous version was not known for its aerodynamic nature and hence, the MC aims to improve the aerodynamic nature without affecting the sleek nature of the original model.
The Machine: The MC concept has 2 large air intakes and they aim to improve airflow to the engine and brakes. it also comes packed with combination air inlet/vents which are then integrated into the bonnet and also accommodates wider track. It has side skirts to which are linked new side air vents. The twin exit exhaust pipes at the rear and other features make the car look awesome and also make it function well. It has FIA approved roll cage, Sparco race wheel, carbon race seats and a dashboard. The MC concept runs on a on a 4.7-liter V8 engine which has been taken from the GranTurismo S.
The Thrill: The Maserati Corse concept weighs less than 1,400kg and has a power to weight ration of less than 4.2kg per kW. The car looks cool and is packed with awesome technology and still maintains both aerodynamics and elegant design.
