Maserati has unveiled the first four-seater convertible in its history, and the new GranCabrio will be officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The GranCabrio is what Maserati calls the “third prong” of its trident, which completes the marque’s lineup along with the Quattroporte and GranTurismo.
While there are no exact figures available at the moment, the convertible will be powered by a 4.7-l V8, with a power output of 433bhp. Maserati says the GranCabrio has the longest wheelbase among convertibles currently in the market. More details will come along at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and deliveries will begin in spring next year.
