There is a new entrant in the SUV market that is already boasting great cars like Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander.

The new car is the biggest that has come from Mazda’s Hiroshima Plant. The car named Mazda CX-9 is the successor of Mazda CX-7.

This new offering from the company is designed to cater the need of seven seats. But still unlike other seven seaters in the category this car will not have a removable third row.

The CX-9 has used the architecture of 2007 Ford Edge that was released last October.

The car will compete with Honda Pilot an d Toyota Highlander and is also a serious contender in the segment.

If we go on the engine side of the car then you will find a 3.5-liter V-6 variable valve timed engine that deliver an average 263 hp. The power is transmitted via a six speed automatic gear box. It also delivers a high end torque of 4300-pounds that makes you zoom.

Onboard the car you will also find Voice-activated Bluetooth hands-free calling and all models are also equipped with Satellite Sirius Radio.

For entertainment the CX-9 comes with auxiliary input jacks so that you can easily configure your iPod to it. Other options include a 277-watt, 10-speaker, Bose Centerpoint audio system with MP3 playback and also a rear end entertainment system that includes a 9-inch LCD display and a 296-watt Bose 5.1 surround sound audio system.

The car will be reaching the dealers this week and will be priced between $29,000 and $32,000.
