mazda2

For the first time in its history, the Mazda2 will get a three door variant. To be debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the new variant will be nearly the same as the five-door model currently available, except the number of doors ofcourse. Engine options for the new hatchback are likely to remain the same as for the five-door. This means there will be 1.3-L and 1.5-L petrol engines and a 1.4-L turbocharged diesel to choose from.

With roughly the same weight, the new hatchback will have performance and fuel-efficiency similar to its five-door sibling. This implies that it will weigh less than 1,000 kg, and aim for a five star Euro NCAP rating.
