The Beast
Mazda’s third-generation hatchback - the Mazda3 is apparently debuting at the LA Auto Show. As always, the specs are being kept under wraps, till it actually hits the circuit. For now, we have to be content with a discussion on the smooth silhouette and sharp swept-back headlamps. It is always a tough call to achieve a balance between aggression and elegance. From the looks of it, the Mazda3 seems to have come pretty close.
The Machine
The company is planning to unveil 2.0 and 2.5 liter versions of the Mazda3. Further specs are awaited on the car, which is expected to make a market appearance in 2010.
The Thrill
With a commuter sedan, you would perhaps expect nothing more than mid-level performance. We believe the Mazda3 can offer you that and perhaps, a lot more too. For such an opinion, though, on-road performance would serve as a better indicator.
