The Japanese “Media Vehicle” seeks to combine transportation in the real world with the virtual world. The strangely futuristic looking vehicle treats the rider to the virtual world. Once inside, a spherical display surrounds the upper body of the rider, while the lower body remains free.

Still in the prototype stage, the machine can only handle a max of 60kg weight. Medium of transport combined with the virtual world… sounds pretty much like the people in Wall-E. Maybe the future isn’t that far!
