We are witnessing an era where petrol and gasoline prices are soaring sky high. So, it’s very much natural we look for the alternatives, and designing automobiles to be electric is the most convenient option. Well, Daimler expects two new electric vehicles viz. Smart car and Mercedes-Benz by 2010. Would it be either MB’s A-Class or B-Class, it remains a yawning question. There is still no word about expected pricing but the reports that Car’s lithium-ion batteries would be the deciding factor keeps everyone guessing. It means that Daimler is making an allowance for a lease proposal for its batteries which is so very essential to cut down the prices. Needless to say, an era of alternative fuel resources is in front of us all demanding some sort of substitutes. Going electric is really the way out of it, I guess.
