Mercedes DaimlerChrysler become the first company to donate a fire-fighting supervisor vehicle to the Sacramento metropolitan Fire department after they donated a same kind of vehicle to the Wayne State University police department here.

It’s a zero emission vehicle based on the Mercedes fuel-cell platform which has the range of 100 miles and top speed of 85mph on the electric motor that produces 88 horsepower. It will accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 16 seconds.
