Some cars are way too precious to be lost by the owner. Take the recent case of the spectacular Mercedes SLR McLaren for instance. Apparently, some conniving thieves first stole the key of the car and then grabbed for the car.



But luck was not on their side: it was only within half an hour of it being reported stolen that the car was recovered. According to the only information I have, it was spotted using a ‘Tracker’ tracing device 12 miles away.
