Mike Charlton wants to break the land speed record on his motorcycle, to this end, he is building a new motorcycle that will be able to burn the track at 500mph. This may sound crazy to many, but not to Mike, who has already built a 200mph bike he calls QuasiMoto and a 180mph truck called American Thunder (pictured).
The envisioned motorbike will be 26-feet long and powered by a U.S. Navy fighter jet engine. To ensure a full good run for the bike, it will run at the Utah Salt Flats next year. Currently, the land speed record is at the 350mph mark, if Mike’s bike is successful, he will beat that record with a huge margin.
