Mini has collaborated with Airstream Inc. to have a trailer coupled to a Clubman. Copenhagen-based furniture makers, Republic of Fritz Hansen will design the trailer to be pulled by the car. The trailer will carry the theme of “lifestyle of surfing” and get new interpretations of Arne Jacobsen’s Egg and Swan Chair, a table set with four unique Series Seven chairs, waterproof interiors and a sun bathing bed. The MINI will echo the surfing theme with black “wetsuit” neoprene accents along with green trim. This concept will be displayed at the Salone del Mobile show in Milan.
