To celebrate 40 years of their Mini Cooper S that won the British Touring Car championship, Arden have come up with a heavily modified Mini Equipe. The tuners have added a new intercooler, stainless steel exhaust with catalytic converters, and they remapped the ECU to get a power increase of 40hp, and a torque gain of 50Nm over the stock Mini.
The Equipe runs on 18×8 inch aluminum wheels, while a special Arden sports suspension and 30mm lowered springs, together with six-piston brakes for the front improve the car’s handling. For the interiors, the Mini gets a custom two-tone leather upholstery throughout the cabin. The Equipe is available for special order.
