mini monte _to be produced in europe
You might call that old news and rightly so but the time of putting this one up was purposely delayed and the reason is the way you have to apologise time and again for being proactive when it comes to spraying these production conformation news. Since we haven’t had a word on this after Saturday, I fretfully tell you that the upcoming Mini SUV will not be manufactured in the US.

Defying the earlier speculations of the Mini SUV, Monte, being produced at BMW’s Spartanburg, North Carolina plant, the German carmaker has revealed that the Monte would be produced in Europe. The Speculation obviously was based on the strong fact that BMW manufactures its SUV’s at this plant and Mini’s latest offering being an SUV, the Spartanburg plant was just about ideal.

Focused to keep the Mini production to Europe, it would be the BMW X3 producing Magna plant in Austria , where the Monte is finally decided to be manufactured thus muscling past another gesticulation of it being produced at Mini’s Oxford plant in England.

This is now a confirmation that the Mini Monte will be produced in Europe, with the production date confirmed for late 2008; the Mini buffs can now start speculating when exactly could they have the Monte in their parking lots.
