When Mission Motors first introduced the Mission One electric motorcycle, they claimed that it would be the fastest electric motorcycle. Now they have the numbers and a friggin’ land speed record to back their claim. The Mission One ran through the Bonneville Salt flats, and got as high as 161 mph on one pass, the average of two passes though, came out to 150.059 mph. That’s also the new Land Speed Record for an electric motorcycle. The Mission One will reach production soon, with only 50 units to be built, each carrying a pricetag of nearly $70,000.
