Mitsubishi has released some details on the upcoming 2008 Lancer Ralliart. Due to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, Mitsubishi has not yet revealed whether the car will be based on the four-door Lancer or the five-door hatch. Carscoop says the car will be based on the five door version, while for the US, it will be based on the four-door sedan.
Power will come from a detuned version of the Evo X’s engine. The 2.0 liter (Dual Valve VVT) Turbo Engine that produces 240 PS mated to Mitsubishi’s twin-clutch SST Transmission and full time 4WD system. The Ralliart will get an aluminium bonnet panel, Recaro front seats, sports steering wheel with paddle shift and a Ralliart radiator grille.
