spirit of ecstasy
Who in the motor world does not know about Rolls-Royce and who did not wish that this exclusive and handmade one in a billion car was theirs? Actually I would still want my Ferrari, but getting a Rolls is a lot more difficult. Now the car has gotten all the more exclusive with this awesome logo clad in diamonds. We all know the ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ that bows down proudly on top of every RR (We will call it ‘RR’ for my typing ease from here on in today). Now that lady fluttering in fluttering robes is adored by dazzling diamonds that make the car all the more special. This truly is a, auto nirvana!

A one-of-a-kind mascot of the RR was commissioned by local luxury car dealership Manhattan Motorcars. Designer Jean Kemanjian described his creation, valued at $200,000, and the design process. Four inches high by two inches across, the mascot is original to the car. It is made with diamonds, platinum, and rare metals. The car itself is rare and this special mascot makes this one RR all the more rarer. The Rolls-Royce is indeed hand made with every car attended to detail. The emblem clad in diamonds is equally amazing and has as much skill put in to it as the car makers would put in to the machine.

150 carats of D color VVS1 quality diamonds were used and some fancy intense yellow diamonds were clad on the wings. The skill of the jeweler comes into play at the base. According to Kemanjian, “Pave (pah-vay) is a technique that we use to actually create the surface, which is actually a diamond surface. What you’re looking at is actually diamond after diamond. It’s like laying down tiles. It’s the most expensive surface you can create known to man.” That is truly spectacular. This one-off emblem can be viewed at the Ney York Auto Show and it is not for sale or replication. Like everything else about Rolls-Royce this too is completely exclusive!
