Movito looks like a sleek, hubless electric scooter, and that partly is what the concept is. But it can do something different, like transforming into a car. Designed by Tai Chiem for NASA’s “Create the Future Contest,” the concept has two modular parts, an upper scooter chassis and a base. In its basic form, Movito is a scooter, powered by in-wheel electric motors fed by batteries placed in the base. The batteries have to be aligned parallel for the concept to take on the form of a car. The concept also sports an integrated GPS system with a touchscreen interface.
