The Rebel is a unique customizable B-segment concept car that is aimed specifically at the youth and their mindset. Winner of the Best Lifestyle Interior and Best Personalized Interiors prizes at the 2007 Interior-Motives Awards, the car was created by Coventry University MA Automotive Design graduates Kazunori Inomota, Edward Stubbs and Mujammil Khan-Muztar.

Looking to incorporate aspects of the Japanese ‘Harajuku’ gangs - where teenagers create their own fashion to deliberately try to stand out from their peers - and Toyota’s youth-oriented Scion brand, the design focuses on social interaction, functionality, and the relationship buyers have with personalized products.
