Tata showed its Euro spec Nano Europa at the Geneva Motor Show. The car is an upmarket version of the basic Nano that will start selling in India within a month. Tata plans the European debut of the car in 2011, and it will come with standard accessories like Anti-lock braking system, driver and passenger airbags and an electronic control system. The engine has been made more powerful, with three cylinders, as compared to the Indian version with only two cylinders.
Well, the Nano still is far from the European roads, and Tata intends to use the time to make the car worth European safety norms. All those additions will drive up the costs, and while the Nano Europa will not be available for $2500, its cost will still be pretty low.

when people can buy tiny houses, tiny laptops and tiny mp3 players, why can’t they buy tiny cars? The Tata Nano is one such tiny car that will give easy and cheap transportation to the masses.
