VW Caddy



Many automakers are competing to give the best eco-friendly cars, and Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge (VWN), Germany is not different from the rest. The carmaker has developed a car, Caddy that can run both on natural gas and petrol - the latter only when natural gas is insufficient and for starting the car.



With a maximum capacity of 26 kg of fuel, the car can go 430kilometers. The 2.0 liter engine been optimized for natural gas usage to give maximum output capable of delivering as much as 80 kW / 109 h.p. The Caddy also has an average fuel consumption of six kilograms per 100 kilometres so that means 4.50 Euros per 100 kilometers. Therefore, you are going to save a lot.



As of now, seems like it is available only in Germany. Nevertheless, having to rely on petrol for starting the car makes it less attractive.
