Ford has added two new models to its 4×4 pickups. Ford is all set to capitalize on the success of its 4×4 pickups which have appealed to both, retail as well as business customers.

The Ranger 3.0-litre Double Cab Thunder auto and 3.0-litre Double Cab Wildtrak aim to lure new pickup drivers. The new Thunder comes with a 156PS 3.0L turbo diesel engine. Scuff Plates, a 6-cd player and air conditioning as standard. Chrome side and underbar together with a tubular sports bar give the pickup a unique look.
The Wildtrak comes with the same engine as the Thunder and with some feature enhancements. Unique limited edition color schemes like Chilli Orange and Passion Red will become available simultaneously.
The new models approach the pickup theme with a focus on sports. 16inch alloy wheels, a new sports front grille, aluminium roof rails and an integrated load bay liner and a rear protection bar with integrated park distance control are hallmarks of the new Wildtrak.
Interiors of the Wildtrak get special attention with heated seats trimmed in leather and perforated alcantra in orange detailing. The floor mats, sporty steering wheel, dash-mounted off-road ‘information centre’ and other enhancements further the sports look of the new Wildtrak.
A host of bodystyle and drivetrain options ranging from £12,372 for a 4×2 single cab to £20,872 for the Wildtrak double cab are available (excluding VAT).
