Ferrari’s SUV plans have created quite a stir. Speculations of the prancing horse marque appearing on an SUV have been out in the open for long and have become stronger after renderings of the new SUV emerged a few weeks ago.
Automarket has come up with another rendering of the so-called 2010 Ferrari FS 599 Fuoristrada SUV. The new rendering looks more mature and closer to what Ferrari might put on offer. Even though the renderings are new, the details remain as they were reported earlier; 0-62mph sprint is likely to take less than five seconds, power stands at more than 600hp, top speed will be 300kmph and the price will fall in the range of €250,000.
It is believed that Ferrari bosses are trying to get the ‘go-ahead’ from parent Fiat for the project. If the SUV does make a debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, as speculations say, it would be interesting to see how fans react. As of now, a majority of people don’t seem to be in favor of an SUV coming from Ferrari.
