The C30 has been a runaway hit in those Hollywood terms, a car that did save the face for Volvo in the torrid times and now just like Ford capitulated on the Thunderbird for decades, the Swedish carmaker is planning to launch a crossover based on the C30 as per latest reports.
If it is just taken as a gesticulation, you would have to fairly repent, for there is even a name doing rounds for the predicted CUV, the XC30 that X obviously signifying a blend or a crossover.
The XC30 would probably be a five-door CUV which would run on an all-wheel-drive-system. This CUV would serve the purpose of doing away with the S 40 sedan which has been a long standing, profit generating sedan for the automaker.
