Despite the valiant efforts to assist an injured driver after a fiery car crash, it’s not always that the victim is rescued. Often its because that vital seconds are missed by the rescue team in removing the driver from the crushed vehicle and delivering first aid. And at times it’s the late arrival of the rescue team while the dazed driver can smell his own flesh burning somewhere inside the car.
So, keeping the above scenario in mind, the iconic GT-R after achieving fame and success on both the road and track is the newest member of the Nurburgring’s emergency response team.
That’s right, the car is fitted with a fire retardant tank fully consuming the rear passenger area, followed by a functional hose reel and equipment bay in the trunk. The car is also kitted out with a full roll cage and carbon fiber Recaro racing seats for safety.
Now, the speed demon may also be the fastest emergency vehicle on Earth!
