Maglev, or magnetic levitation has been hailed as the future of high speed transportation since long, but the idea is predominantly based on trains. With the Motivity 400-C design proposal, designer Tryi Yeh intends to bring magnetic levitation from train tracks to roads.
The concept has a maglev system in each wheel, to propel it to high speeds. Its nose rather stands out, and definitely isn’t the best looking feature of the concept, but it helps to reduce air drag on the vehicle. The 1+1 seater has a traditional steering wheel, but its canopy-like roof is anything but traditional.
