
Nissan has released some details of the much awaited GT-R. Though the previous generations came with the name of Skyline GT-R, the new vehicle will be called ‘Nissan GT-R’ worldwide.
Price for the car has been set at 7.8 million yen (US$ 67,875) in Japan. Initial details, regarding the basic specifications, colours available and information for placing pre-orders will also be made available to prospective customers in Japan.
The company has also announced setting up of 160 Nissan high performance centers in Japan in order to provide sales and servicing support for customers of the GT-R. The model will be available in three trim levels.
