Now here’s a car that promises to reconnect man to his heritage. Nissan has come up with a vehicle that will enable drivers to access information about the locality they are traveling through via a wireless Internet network and a user-friendly interface installed within the car. The entire instrument panel serves as a handy display screen to allow motorists to view images from the fourteen CCD cameras (eight plan-view cameras and six look-around cameras) located at strategic points throughout the car’s exterior when they cross through one the amenity points located in a densely populated locality.
The large screen allows passengers to view the images in a manner that blends naturally with the scenery unfolding outside. By presenting a large amount of information in a single display, the system allows users to maximize their enjoyment of the process. The interactive system also helps drivers with parking more efficiently and maintaining a safer distance in traffic. The best part about this design, though, has got to be the fact that it makes even the lowliest of drivers feel like a superhero or an astronaut!
