It only seems obvious at this point that Nissan would be borrowing all the truck expertise from the ones that actually are good and giving the American market the trucks they love. Nissan has already paid for the mechanics and the know-how of the Ram and it seems only a matter of time that the company will announce the fact that the next batch of Nissan Titans will be powered by the Chrysler’s 5.7L HEMI V8.
While it has not yet been officially confirmed by Nissan, Chrysler chairman Jim Press declared at an LA Motor Guild meeting recently that the Nissan Titan would indeed receive HEMI power. While it would be wonderful if anyone could indeed get inside the boardroom and see how Nissan would have reacted to this since they might be the ones who might have wanted to make the big official statement, there is still no confirmation on it from Nissan. The new HEMI from Chrysler is already the best truck engine that is around and it only makes proper sense that Nissan put it in Titan when they have already paid for it. So hopefully you will see the next Titan roll out with a HEMI at its heart.

Nissan trucks has been around but didn’t quite do well in the market and its buyers. I have read many dissatisfaction blogs about it. Even its mufflers are nothing compared to a toyota tacoma muffler.
