Nissan Motor Co., Ltd has come up with two new additional CARWINGS offerings for its customers. The duo Yahoo! Wai Wai Map and CARWINGS Builder will help delivering enhanced information service and boosting up information sharing between members of CARWINGS. Both new services offered will get an opening by the second of this October.
The Yahoo! ‘Wai Wai Map’ works in association with Yahoo Japan Corporation. The operative for Yahoo! JAPAN and can be directly accessed using the CARWINGS system. It enables the customers to get information at the touch of a finger; users can locate favorite restaurants or get the knowledge about the latest happenings.
The CARWINGS Builder is an ideal user-generated networking system which eases people to share their favorite spots with registered CARWINGS members.
Yahoo! Maps ‘Wai Wai Map’, a community styled information service, and audio broadcasts will be available through CARWINGS. CARWINGS also allows users to register and broadcast information on its member-network. Information can be in data-format or audio-format.
This makes it more of a social networking service.
Users of W-SIM special car navigation unit which comes equipped with a multi-functional communication functions, can have access to the CARWINGS services on a transmission fee of just 1200 yen which includes consumption tax per month.
