Most of the cars these days have great infotainment systems, we have a number of gadgets, and there’s the Nomadic Device Integration (NDI) System concept to blend car interiors and gadgets. The concept makes the interiors look cool and futuristic, and it allows integration of a number of devices. A touchscreen displays connected gadgets as icons, and allows control of the devices in a user-friendly format.
Individual users can define preferences, widgets, colors, fonts and profiles according to their taste, allowing a great degree of flexibility and customization. The system recognizes the mobile devices attached, and displays the options available in a text format. Since different devices have varying user interface, the use of text format allows the NDI to communicate with the device(s) in a much simpler and efficient manner.
