It seems that the Peugeot Design Contest 2008 is really producing some amazing concept cars and while one can only wait for the ultimate winner, the journey is proving to be quite exciting with various cars that are being dubbed as the cars for the future. What is interesting to see is the wide variety of cars that are on view and how each of them actually present a wonderful and vivacious concept that is different from anything else that has been sketched up in the past.
Opena is a car that is all about making your drive through the city as vibrant and positive as possible. Smooth shapes underline soft character of the car, which is friendly signal to the environment. Glassy doors and roof makes an impression of accessibility, closeness to the environment, to the city. The doors of the car open in a brand new way signaling the new and fresh approach the car brings to city roads.

It is a two seat car. The way how the interior has been designed is an answer for reducing free space in large cities. The driver and the passenger can feel relaxed in the car, which is filled with harmony of the shapes. It is apparently designed for people who are filled with happiness and are open o face new challenges with glee. Opena is a car created by Jaroslaw Koziel for the citizens of the tomorrow’s urban space. We wish Jaroslaw all the best with the contest and hope his design wins people over.
