Pablo Picasso was the most renowned feature in twentieth century art, a painter whose area of expertise was the naturalistic delineation but wonder what would have been the result had he opted for cars, unfortunately we are not in the position to speculate it now.

Andy Saunders a 44 year old mechanic, highly inspired by Picasso’s portrait of Dora Marr from Poole, Dorset, spent six months turning his aged Citroen 2CV into a cubist work of art.

He has tried to haze the difference between designing the car and art with Picasso as his inspiration. Saunders Stated
I studied Picasso and noticed that he used mainly primary colors and I’ve stuck with that for the car.

He has named it as Picassos Citroen and the car will be launched at this edition of the Goodwood festival. He says that this one would even have been preferred by Picasso himself.

This car is legally worthy for day time driving, without any traditional headlights and side indicators as he mentioned that this could be done even by hands .Eventually the car has not gone down on its acceleration and can still do sixty miles per hour .

The whole car is indistinct with all new parts making it a work-of-art, which gives it a peculiarity, every time you peer at it .He expects that it may be bought by the Tate gallery or the Pompidou center in Paris being a work of art and cant be measured in value but then again can fetch him around a million pounds.

Andy Saunders says that if the museums and art collectors won’t buy it, he will have to stick it to the auto trader’s .and will be showcasing it in Goodwood , where crazy auto buffs have money enough to buy anything lest a piece of art .

This masterpiece from Saunders can make envy even the proudest 2CV owners and may be this jealousy provokes a crazy French guy to spend some of his wealth to acquire it!
