It is not very often that a designer can claim that they have crafted something that is best of both the F1 world as well as Moto GP. This is pretty much saying that you have the design of the best vehicle on the planet and that for me is a lot to say. Of course, the design has to make it through to the road, but on paper the Epine Spine looks like a car that surely could give F1 machines big bikes a run for their money!
Designed by Daniel Schumpert, this incredible green vehicle is powered by a hybrid engine that cuts down enormously on pollution. Designed to be a track day car, this vehicle combines the excitement of motorcycle racing with formula one racing. With its Epine spine system it allows for a full motion of seating arrangements with fly-by-wire technology for steering. The vehicles power plant system is contained in the rear with storage in the front.

Suspension is made possible by the Michelin tweel concept and is housed inside the wheel itself, the compounds used and architecture allow for the wheel spokes to compress and uncompress allowing for a large range of motion. Overall this vehicle was designed to be not only eco friendly but allow for the occupants to experience nature in a completely new way. The Epine might never actually pick an F1 Championship or a Moto GP crown but it sure as hell will raise eyebrows and steal the show!
