Designing modern concept cars seems to be more and exercise of fancy lines and unlikely models rather than ones that actually would in some shape, way or form are a blueprint for a model that would one day travel the roads. It seems that the fancy concepts are only getting ‘fancier’ rather than actually practical and while they might still make it to the real world someday, that day seems pretty far away right now. Peugeot though seems to encourage the designers by each year giving them an opportunity to excel and steal a bit of the spotlight with their unique concept contests.

‘Ilove’ is a recreational vehicle that is also an off-road vehicle and can travel both on water and land. It is the wheels of the vehicle though that really stand out with their very unique design. The vehicle seems to have some sort of lower body floating dynamics that allow it to float on water and while the engine might propel it even in water, there is no such propeller that is apparently visible. The car does look fairly decent and the technological input and the fancy interiors make it a treat.

Designed by David Portela, the Peugeot Ilove is a car that is about off-road exploration and if you want your adventure to be pepped up with a touch of style and sophistication then the Ilove might really come in handy.
