peugeot bb1 concept_02

Unconventional is a small word for Peugeot’s BB1 concept, it is something like extremely unconventional. Peugeot says “Its mother is a scooter. Its father is a car.” We think the results of the union didn’t go very well, as far as the looks are concerned. The concept has an exaggerated stance towards the front, protruding bubble roof and tail lamps.

Somehow, the BB1 manages to seat four passengers who enter through its reverse hinged doors. The bubble roof is covered in solar panels for the clean energy thing, and the steering is a horn shaped device that further puts it away from the “competition” and into the cartoon world. We may not like its looks, but Peugeot probably has some interesting figures and statistics to show for the new concept, and that is probably why they have revived the BB1 nameplate of the ’60s.
