So we have another design from the Peugeot Design Competition and it seems that every car that has made it through to the final round has something unique or special about it. It would be a tough job picking the winner and the Stylight is a design that should impress with its simple design and solid basics which help the car immensely without actually making it too flashy or unrealistic. Once again the importance of sound aerodynamic design and a stable body work are highlighted by the delightful little car.

Designed by Ognyan Bozhilov the car is a small 3-seater city car perfect for a small family to drive around the city. Packed with a small 1.6 liter HDI engine and an electric motor, the engine is placed above the rear wheels. This ensures better weight distribution in the car and also helps save plenty of energy. This also lends the Stylight its advantage with a wonderful aerodynamic design and unique compact look.

The two little aspects that stand out with the Stylight are the glowing neon Peugeot symbol on the rim of its wheels and its very unique taillights which are made out of LED lights. The LEDs glow according to the pressure applied on the braking system, which ensures the right intensity and acts as a simple but very effective safety feature. The Peugeot Stylight concept is truly a tiny little delight for the future roads.

Now we really have an idea where Peugeot is heading in the future in terms of design. Great designs, by the way. I wonder if it is compatible with Ansa Flex Pipe.
